GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS

For best results, please refrigerate your Macarooz upon arrival for at least 15-20 minutes, then allow them to reach room temperature before enjoying! Your Macarooz are at their best during the first 7 days of delivery, or they can be frozen for up to 4 weeks in an airtight container to reduce air and moisture. Make sure you store your Macarooz in the refrigerator if you do not finish them in one sitting.

Q: What macaron flavors does Macarooz carry?

A: We have 13 original Macarooz flavors and always offer 3-4 new flavors of the month as well as limited edition flavors. You can view our entire catalog here

Q: Are Macarooz gluten-free?

A: Although our facility is not certified gluten free, all of the ingredients we use for toppings, to make our macarons and fillings are gluten free!

Q: What are the main ingredients in Macarooz?

A: Prime ingredients for our macarons are: almond flour, egg whites, sugar, and confectioner’s sugar. In addition to that, cocoa powder is also added to make our chocolate macarons. Our macaron fillings include (based on the specific flavor): chocolate, dairy (cream/butter), jam, and nuts. *Nuts are part of every recipe. We recommend those with tree nut allergies refrain from eating our products.

Q: Do you offer subscriptions?

A: Each month we release new monthly flavors for our customers. By signing up to become a club member, you will receive these exciting new flavors before anyone else on our website and at a discounted price! Number of flavors ranges from 3-4 each month. You can sign up here

Q: What days do you ship?

A: We offer FREE standard shipping Monday through Wednesday only.  Why only 3 days?  We use very short shipping methods due to the fragile nature of the macarons.  If we ship later in the week, we run the risk of the shipment being delayed over the weekend.

 

Q: What service and carrier do you use to ship Macarooz?

A: We currently use Priority Mail with the USPS.

Q: Do you offer Priority Express?

A: Priority Express is available for our customers for an extra fee. You can select this option in the checkout page. This will allow us to ship your Macarooz Mon-Thurs only.

Q: When should I place my order for the quickest turnaround?

A: As mentioned above, our shipping days are Mon-Wed only (excluding Priority Express). If you place your order on Monday or Tuesday, your order will be shipped the following shipping day.  If you place your order after 8am CT on Wednesday, your order will be shipped on our next following shipping day: Monday. Depending on your shipping zone, the actual shipping transit time will be between 1-3 days. Please note, there can be a 1-2 days delay during peak holiday season but we always try to get all orders out by the third shipping day. 

Q: What materials do you use to ship Macarooz?

A: We use food grade blister cases, FDA approved ice packs,  and cooling materials to help your Macarooz stay cool and fresh during the duration of its travels. We do not use bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or allow any packing materials that’s not FDA approved to come into contact with your Macarooz.

Q: The ice pack is melted. Is it still okay to consume my Macarooz?

A: The ice packs may no longer be cold upon arrival, this is okay! The ice packs help the macarons stay cold during transit and may be thawed by the time your package arrives.

Q: My Macarooz arrived damaged. What should I do?

A: Although we have no control over how the USPS handles the shipping process, for damage claims, please submit photographs of the external shipping box as well as the damaged macarons to orders@macarooz.com along with your order number. We want your experience with Macarooz to be the best; therefore, we will make every effort to make sure it’s a good one 🙂

Q: Where are you based?

A: Our licensed production facility is located in Houston, TX.

Q: Do you have a store front?

A: Currently we are an online macaron shop only. A store front is in the works in the near future 🙂

Q: Do you offer wholesale?

Q: Do you offer custom macarons i.e. special colors, designs, etc for special events?

A: We love helping make your special events even more special with customized Macarooz. While we don’t yet officially offer a customization service, our staff will work with you to determine if we can meet your needs. We have made custom macarons for weddings, baby showers, graduations, birthdays, and holiday celebrations. If we determine that we can meet your needs, you’ll have the option to select flavors from our menu to combine with custom colors/designs that go with the theme of your event. Additionally, we use fondant, edible ink (for drawing) and airbrushing to add detail to the shells.
