Pandan leaves are widely used in Southeast Asian cooking for their flavor. Pandan is basically Asia's vanilla bean. Just as we use vanilla in many desserts and food items to enhance their flavor, pandan is used for this purpose in Asia. It has a very nice, light, and pleasant aroma.
