🎉 Our First H-E-B Bakery Expo: A Sweet Experience in Austin!
What a sweet experience!
We recently attended our very first H-E-B Bakery Expo in Austin, Texas, and we couldn't have asked for a better time!
From meeting H-E-B store managers across Texas to showcasing our signature Mac Pops, introducing upcoming seasonal collections, and hosting an interactive summer flavor vote, the event was filled with great conversations, delicious samples, and plenty of excitement.
Here's a little behind-the-scenes look at our first H-E-B Bakery Expo!
🛒 Connecting with Our H-E-B Community
Since launching our 3-pack Mac Pops at H-E-B, we've been excited to see our products reach more shoppers throughout our home state.
The Bakery Expo gave us the opportunity to connect with store managers, hear their feedback, and showcase two of our current H-E-B flavors.
🎂 Birthday Cake: Classic birthday cake flavor with a sweet, creamy center and festive sprinkles.
🍪 Cookie Dough: Rich, buttery cookie dough flavor with chocolate chips in every bite.
One of the highlights of the event was hearing directly from store managers who already carry Mac Pops.
Many shared that our products have been popular with their shoppers, with Birthday Cake standing out as their best-selling flavor!
We also met store managers who haven't brought Macarooz into their locations just yet. They had the opportunity to sample our products and take home 3-pack Mac Pops to enjoy.
It was wonderful to introduce our products to new stores while connecting with those who have already welcomed Macarooz onto their shelves.
☀️ A Sneak Peek at Our Summer Flavors
Of course, we couldn't attend the show without bringing something new to the table!
Alongside Birthday Cake and Cookie Dough, we showcased three summer Mac Pop flavors:
🍓 Strawberry: A sweet, fruity favorite that captures the taste of summer.
🌈 Rainbow Sherbet: A colorful combination of bright, fruity flavors inspired by the classic frozen treat.
🍊 Orange Creamsicle: A nostalgic blend of refreshing orange and creamy vanilla.
But we didn't just want everyone to sample our summer flavors. We wanted to hear which one they'd love to see in their stores!
🗳️ The Votes Are In!
To make the experience more interactive, we invited H-E-B store managers to sample all three summer flavors and vote for their favorite.
And the results?
🍓 Strawberry took first place!
Rainbow Sherbet followed closely behind, finishing just five votes behind Strawberry.
It was exciting to see everyone participate and share their preferences. Beyond the friendly competition, the voting gave us valuable feedback on which flavors store managers would be interested in bringing to their shoppers.

🌹 A Sweeter Take on Valentine's Day & Mother's Day
Summer wasn't the only season on our minds!
We also brought along our Rose Mac Pop collection, giving store managers a sneak peek at a beautiful gifting option for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
Featuring our Red Velvet and Strawberry Rose Mac Pops, this collection combines the flavor of our signature Mac Pops with an elegant, rose-inspired design.
They're a sweet alternative to traditional flowers and a thoughtful way to celebrate someone special.
It was exciting to showcase how Mac Pops can go beyond everyday treats and become part of life's most meaningful celebrations.
💗 More Than Just a Trade Show
While sharing our products was a big part of the event, one of our favorite experiences was getting to connect with the people behind the stores.
Hearing that Mac Pops are already popular with shoppers was incredibly encouraging, and meeting managers interested in bringing our products to their locations made the experience even more rewarding.
As a Texas-based dessert brand, opportunities like this mean so much to us.
Every conversation, sample, and vote helps us learn more about what shoppers enjoy and how we can continue bringing a little sweetness to communities across Texas.
